As a final outcome of “Kameel Zakareah’s workshop” that I joined last month, “Drop of Light” is a digital collage work made out a series of photos that I took with my friend about painting with light. Mostly you can’t see the subjects of the photos that’s because I intend to cut parts that can build on top of the drawing. What you see here is a sketch based on top of a photo collage painted over in Photoshop. There where no idea behind the sketch, I was just drawing what I felt is right. But after looking at the final image I can see what I wanted to say through this piece. Though the three characters look evil but they are created form light just like angels, welling to bleed for god to serve the humankind. I have more ideas about this piece, might write them down one day.
